I saw an interesting article on Joystiq (http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/07/rts-and-fps-mixed-up-into-a-warsoup/) and also on Destructoid (http://www.destructoid.com/warsoup-is-what-happens-when-rts-meets-fps-189096.phtml) about an intriguing game called Warsoup, which is being developed by Moon Studios.

The only thing that bothers me slightly is how much of Halo they've used. They even used an image of Harvest (http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/File:Harvest_Plasma_Glassed.jpg) in the video.
I did a quick search on Google an came across this thread (http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/50747-Warsoup) showing some of the early concept images and models of the game.
I will certainly be keeping an eye on this game. I like the way it looks and I hope that the RTS-FPS combination will work well.
