So I exported a file to an .ass, put it on Halo 2 map editior/data, and put it into a folder I created called structure, so basically, when I compile, it says it's in the wrong direction. How? halp

You should export to Halo 2 Map Editor\data\scenarios\multi\YourMapName\Structure, not Halo 2 Map Editor\data\structure.

Just what Vicky said.
When you are not sure where a file should go then you can always view an existing scenario or map file structure. To view compiled maps use Entity for H2X (XBox) maps and/or Gravemind for H2V (PC) maps. There is only one .scenario file included with the H2EK and it is called Example.scenario; it is a tiny map and not very helpful but it could answer a few questions if you open it with either Sapien or Guerilla.
H2X Entity 2.1.5

*You will need XBox map files as well, not sure if I can link them here so if you need the link just PM me.
H2V Gravemind 1.5

So I've did it, it just opens up, gives me some error I don't have enough time to read, and closes after half a second.

Check debug.html.
You could also check for threads about compiling a map, many ppl had startup-issues like you.
