I recently reformatted and installed windows again on my laptop. Its not detecting wireless now, and I also think the graphics are running slower and looking worse then they did before. I tried installing all the drivers and everything, but only the graphics were fixed, not the wireless. I've tried going into BIO's and enabling the wireless, but it dosen't seem to be there, same with the device manager.

Any ideas?

Maybe the wireless drivers aren't installed still... How did you find your graphics card drivers - did you run Windows Update? If you didn't look - at the Optional (I think) updates and install the drivers that look like the wireless cards name (obviously not the language packs haha...) If you did, do you know the name of the wireless card? You can most likely find it through their website.

All of the drivers were on the laptops website, I downloaded them all and the updates for Windows, yet it still did nothing.

Try plugging your computer directly into the router and going from there; my school's computers do this for no apparent reason at all.

Hey when you said "...same with device manager" did you mean that device manage won't show up or the wireless adapter doesn't show up on device manager. If latter, then either 1) the laptop doesn't detect the wirless at all (bad) or 2 the driver is definitely not installed .

Device manager dosen't even detect wireless, neither does BIOs. HP wireless assistant does though (when I flick the switch on and off for wirless) and it keeps telling me to enable wireless in Device Manager or BIOs
