Hello, I need some help regarding how to add script objects to a scnr. Basically I can add my scripts and test everything fine, but I cannot find which tag is used for the script objects, Id imagine it goes in sncr resources, but I dont know what tag to create to make working script objects.

quick note, if anyone wnats to take the harsh endeavor to make bipds with backpack weapon permutations, I got the backpack script working in h2v.

You have to name the scenario objects in sapien which will automatically populate the object names block.

quick note, if anyone wnats to take the harsh endeavor to make bipds with backpack weapon permutations, I got the backpack script working in h2v.thats the thing i dont think custom bipeds are possible in halo2, and that goes for custom animations so the fp animations would be off as well.

All you need to do is add permutations to the existing decompiled master chief bipd, one permutation for each weapon, then from there it all goes scripted

I believe the Halo2.exe blocks changes such as that (biped) by forcing the compiled .map to not appear in the custom map list. Same with new vehicles and HUDs.


However, we have come up with a tiny loophole. The MainMenu Mod (or MMM) patches just the MainMenu.map file. After it has been patched you will see four new map slots available from the default MP menu. To play a map from there copy a map to your Halo2/map directory (not the custom dir) and name it Slot1, SLot2, Slot3 or Slot4.map. These maps cannot be downloaded in-game; we have a beta starter map pack here: MonstMoose.com/MMM (http://www.monstrmoose.com/MMM/)

Meh problem here...

I can't get it to add vehicles only scenery...
When I go into scnr resources I can only add a scenery resource tag, the vehicle scenario resource is either crippled or I am incapable of using it.

You don't use scenario resource tags...you use the object placement/palette blocks in the scenario

Yes but the weapons and vehicles, don't show up/dont exist. I don't know what else to do, ive been trying to work around this for two days.

since h2v uses netgame equip to spawn vehicles and weapons the guerilla has no weapons/vehicles placements in the scnr. Even in the extracted scnr I got off you, it references the vehicles and weapons threw the tag I posted up there. I honestly have no idea what to do from here.

Great, anyone have any idea why KM's guerilla refuses to touch a scenario file? I throw any other file at it, and it reads fine, try a scenario and it just refuses to do anything (program looks like its doing nothing) or if I try to create one from scratch it throws an exception.

This is killing me, im on windows 7 64bit, tried all the combatibility shit and it doesnt want to work. Any one have any idea what it could be?

GUERILLA UNLOCKED + EXPERT MODE

In Guerilla go to Edit then Expert Mode.
(Make sure you are using this unlocked Guerilla: http://www.monstrmoose.com/MMreposit...k_unlocked.rar (http://www.monstrmoose.com/MMrepository/Halo_Tools/2_Vista/H2EK_Unlocked/h2ek_unlocked.rar))


Expert mode allows you to edit previously locked fields.


The unlocked version of Guerilla allows you to view/edit previously locked tags and to create new ones.

*I make a shortcut to the one labeled as h2guerillaDONE.exe.

That one doesnt display the full scenario, as kornmans does. I need a way to run it.. I used that version you linked with no issues. KM's guerilla still refuses to make a scenario/open one.

EDIT: THANK YOU SO MUCH, the guerilla new worked perfectly!

What is the difference between the various executables that are replaced/added?

I see:
h2guerillaDONE.exe
h2guerillaNew.exe
h2guerillaTST.exe
and a new version of both h2guerilla.exe and sapien.exe

What is changed in these?

What is the CMT.map?
