Just to get this out of the way, I am not back, and this is not my Steam account, I am posting this thread on behalf of Inferno, who is the owner of this account.

Inferno wants to sell his Steam account. Why? Because he only cares about half a dozen of the games in his library, and cares nothing for his TF2 backpack, so he could actually make money selling his entire account + TF2 backpack, even after rebuying the games he wants on a new account.

His game list:
http://steamcommunity.com/id/dmtinferno/games?tab=all

And his TF2 backpack:
http://www.tf2items.com/id/dmtinferno
Value: $240 (according to Steam Backpack Value calculator)

Inferno is willing to sell this account for a measly $300. Contact him at dmtinfernocide@gmail.com for more information.

Does anyone even care about crafted TF2 items anymore? I only play the game with the base weapon set released in 2007.

Unfortunately, almost everyone does, and the game sucks now because of it.

There is a huge market for them actually, you could easily sell them for at least $240, or even more if you are smart about it.

Unfortunately for Inferno it's not worth anything near $300...

lmao, who pays for something based on TF2 item value? I'd total up the cost of the games attached to the account and sell it for that.

Sell for current steam price of games -25% if not more.

$100-$130 if you're lucky.

That's what I was thinking.

My profile does not show up on Steam Calculator. I type in my name, "ace0fspades" (0 is a zero) and it gives me this. (http://www.steamcalculator.com/id/ace0fspades) That is not me. That is not my name. I don't own Condition Zero or Gmod and I have more games than what is shown there (like the original Half-Life series, to start).

What the fuck is going on.

Anyways, $240 for content that you were already forced to download with the game? Content that can be found for free in due time? Fuck that game...

E: This is too funny not to post: here (http://www.steamcalculator.com/id/76561197973470304) is my page. Apparently I've been a part of Steam since 1 January 1970.

Is that your Steam ID? Someone else may have that as their Steam ID.

lol. Something tells me a digital download of Grand Theft Auto (circa 1997) is not worth $30. Maybe if it was in the original box in pristine condition, it might be worth that as an antique...

That is not my number in the first link. The second link is my number. However, my account name is "ace0fspades" without the quotes. How can there be two accounts with the same name? And this is not an alias, this is the account name.

The name I log in with is different than my Steam ID (Freelancer852).

Freelancer852 is not your Steam ID. Your Steam ID is a number that you get in a game when you type "status" in the console. Your member number is what's displayed in the URL bar in the Community window. Freelancer852 is your account's permanent name. Whatever you call yourself now is just an alias.

After some research, my guess is that this guy made a custom URL called "ace0fspades" and my games list doesn't show up because of my firewall. My profile is set to public, so it's not a settings issue.

Login name =/= custom set ID. http://bacon.modacity.net/img/images/steamid.jpg

From what I've seen steamcalculator.com has issues with profiles that don't have an ID set.

I have three different Steam names.

My Login Name
My Set ID Name (Freelancer852)
My Alias (Xero)

You need to use the second for steamcalculator it seems.

It's not working because you don't have a custom URL set up for your profile page. Notice that on Steam Calculator site it asks for what comes after "http://steamcommunity.com/id/" in your profile's URL. If you haven't set up a custom URL for your profile, the link to your profile is "http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/<bunch of numbers>". Notice the difference? When you tried searching by your numerical ID, it tried to access "http://steamcommunity.com/id/<bunch of numbers>", which obviously doesn't exist. Their site claims that searching by your numerical ID will work, but clearly that's not the case.

Go into your profile settings and set up a custom URL, and it'll work.

It should work with the number. I see plenty of accounts that work the the number they are given.
