You probably could play halo 3 on that sucker if you had a pair of those dual processor video cards in sli. Not to mention how good halo pc would look with that thing!

i've also heard it called supercooling. I have a friend who is going to make one. It involves a compressor like one in an a/c or a dehumidifier. its set up much like liquid cooling, except colder.

Ok. Super Cooling? Ok. Sure. It is the best form of cooling you can use, short of Liquid Nitrogen cooling.

Use a water cooling system, but use liquid nitrogen instead?

I think that in some place, the temperature of the CPU was at freezing because of the nitrogen.

I guess they could have overclocked it a bit more.

The funny thing is, awesome as it would be for running games, it's too unstable. If you have even the slightest cooling glitch, your CPU would burn out instantly. Happened to a friend of mine who overclocked his CPU to something like 3.5 using water cooling, he was stuck on a P3 after that :D

I could do with a faster CPU, no doubts there... but I can't imagine I'll be needing 3.5GHz, let alone 5GHz, any time soon. Why bother? Sure you can run games without the CPU holding you back, but you don't need that much for the same performance, and it goes to waste.

The Core 2 Duo series rarely passes 50% load to begin with. I really dont see a need to overclock it.
