How would I make an effect that simply pushes the player when they walk over it? (Like a man cannon) I can't seem to find any relevant tutorials for this.

wouldnt a man cannon if you get launched by it kill you depending on the distance because i know there is fall damage. Anyways I know the H2 Ascension map has it on the bottom where rocket spwans. You could just rip the tag outta that or whatever and put it in your map if thats what you want. Thats the only idea i can think of.

You spawn invisible projectiles which do no damage.

You can't have force without some damage value. To build a man cannon make a damage emitter and set the damage value extremely small, about 6 decimal places in, then set the damage to skip shields. If you don't have it skip shields then the damage emitted will be capable of stalling any shield regeneration. Then, you can set your force value.
