Hosting Site for Simple Wordpress Blog

Trying to put together a simple WordPress blog so I can share pics and video, and random other stuff so my girls family in Poland can see it.

Really just simple stuff and I don't anticipate uploading anymore than 10 gigs. Curious what hosting company you guys would recommend.

My kid just turned one and atm I am a stay at home dad and would love to log the experience.

Appreciate the suggestions.

Also which version of WordPress has the least issues with plugins, I thought about trying the new RC.

Paladin, thanks for your response. I have looked into blue and dreamhost. Both seem nice with their five minute uptime install of wordpress but I dont really need that "perk". All I require is an FTP into my server so I can do as I wish. PM what compensation you need and what speed/capacity I could host at (again this is just a personal blog).

I would always prefer to help a community member if you have the bandwidth. Hopefully we can work something out.

Welp, how much you need, I have paypal and would love some help setting up a few features, hell not to sound like a newb but atm i have little time and would welcome some help, compensation for server/clean template is a given. My mind works in dollars so until you throw out a figure via here or PM we can't get it done. I have seen you post enough and played you enough, I have no problem hosting with you. I mean ffs whod want a 1 year olds site?

Although I have never used GoDaddy (since their hosting plans sucked a few years back when I first started looking into decent hosts), it's only $4.99/mo for hosting a website with a Wordpress blog. You get FTP accounts and other nice stuff.

Shit Jcap I never considered actually hosting from them, thanks for the link and I will look into it. As I am fairly sure I can keep my kid alive and her name is the blog name, I think you solved my issue, can not see going over 10 gigs so, guess I shall give it a go.


the domain i currently use is (chloeizabella.com) Not meant to be a promotion, as my site currently sucks. I welcome any suggestions as I am new to the blogosphere. I suppose only the few who played halo with me back in the day will give a shit...but this shit blog is why I need a host.
