Who got this game when it came out some time ago. I could have sworn there was a thread for because I remember posting some screens. Oh well. It's a solid game and very well done in the Hot Pursuit spirit, I have a lot of fun with it still.

Final bust was me ramming him into a wall, sadly no photo as the race finished.

Who else has this? Anyone up for some races?

I played the demo for it on Xbox awhile ago, didn't really like the feel of it. Felt more like Burnout than Need for Speed.

And i've been a fan of NFS since the original Hot Pursuit. Ever since they went for more realism it killed it for me (ProStreet and above).

It's very burnout-ish since it was made by Criterion, I thought it did a good job of what it needed to do.

Graphically wise the game is stunning, especially when its raining. You'll see me post a lot of screens from rainy races.

I have it, but I'm too busy with Halo Wars to play anything else (until HA10/Batman come out). Plus, there are some realllllllllllllllllllly annoying tracks in that game :|

I downloaded it for SP. Graphics are stunningly beautiful, but the driving is just burnout without the extreme destruction. I like the game, especially the way the Seacrest County map is used for selecting missions. However, I really only went through the game to unlock all the cars to go out into free drive mode. You can literally drive from one side of the county to the other seamlessly in the game. I got this program that also changes the time of day at the touch of a key, so that's useful for getting good screenshots with Fraps.

I will not doubt that, I can't stand any of the desert levels.

I've been a Need for Speed fan since NFS III: Hot Pursuit. Picked up Hot Pursuit for the PS3 day one. Why'd I get it for the PS3? Racecar.

Flat out GORGEOUS visuals, goosebump inducing sound effects, meh soundtrack, and it controls like a modified Burnout Paradise, what's not to like? Well, there is the Autolog, but I've never really played any of the 3 Hot Pursuit games online.

The best part of this game is that it feels like a true Hot Pursuit game despite the eight year gap. No car customization, no landmarks to discover, none of that Most Wanted bullet-time stuff, just pure exotic racing and arcadey police chases. Also, this is one of the only games where it's fun to keep coming back to a section, slicing off seconds on your time until you get the gold.

Rockingham Road and the Eagle Crest area are my favorites to race in. Big Timber Forest is fun too.

I've gotten so much enjoyment out of this game despite it's shortcomings. I think I'll buy it at the next Steam sale.
