View Full Version : HCE Crazy King Hill Move Time?

I'm trying to figure out how to modify the amount of time a hill will remain in one spot in a KOTH game with moving hilltops. I tried googling this but came up with bupkis. I guess it's not in the gametype options. Tried looking there. I also looked in the globals but again no dice.

Any ideas? People are complaining that they can barely get to a hill by the time it moves in my map. :\

I know you can accomplish this via memory editing, but I'm not sure if there's any other way of doing it.

I'm back to working on my map again. What is this memory editing? Would be cool if I could get the hill to stay longer than 1 minute.

This isn't something you can just set with a gametype or change in the map file so I don't think you'll be able to accomplish what you want unless you use some sort of server app.

Since you don't know what it is, I'll try to figure out the address, but no guarentees :|

edit: found it. Address is (removed). Set it to 1 to change it. Since I'm a shitty coder, my recommendation would be to ask someone to write an app that sets it to 1 at a time interval you can choose from some drop-down or something.

Everytime the value reached 1, it'd have to be set to your value because default is stupidz.

For 60 seconds the value is 1800, so do the math. 30x#sec=yourvalue.

Sounds pretty easy if anyone has a memory editing class. *cough* pm kant *cough*
