...there is some other problem I have right now with it.

I've installed a new mobo and more RAM into it, formated the hard drive and installed the drivers which came with the mobo, and found that the CPU clocks and multiplier are really low.

I have a Phenom II x4 965 whose stock freq. is 3.4 GHz.
Right now, the frequency is at 800 MHz. (FSB 200 MHz multiplier x4)

I'm kinda noob at this stuff, so, help me out!

are you using cpuz to read the freq?

it could be your pc just lowering the freq automatically since your not doing anything demanding.

try running some stress test tool like prime and using cpuz to check the speed while its running.

Ran CPU-Z and Prime95 for some time. CPU usage jumped to 100% but the frequency didn't budge.

Also, I first read the freq from the stock OC app which came with the mobo, but I went into the BIOS and it still said 800 MHz...
