I had a shitload of fun playing it at Quakecon, didn't have any problems.


Plays great, looks great, excellent animations. What's not to like?

Registered for the beta as soon as I heard. I have the client and stuff installed.. now if only I had a key.

I heard it has loadouts and two weapon limit. And no grapling hook. Tribes' a great series though.

I never used the grappling hook, and the only guns I ever used were the Spinfuser, Plasma Gun, and the Blaster. Non-issues in my case.

God damn, this makes me want to go and dig up my Tribes 2 disc.

I much prefer the atmosphere and music from Tribes 2. It has that barren, desolate, "slaughterfest on the fringes of the galaxy" feel to it.
