You might want to wait until you create something on par with or better than Halo's stock content before showing it off.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that, but something that requires more effort than extruding would be nice

Now we can make all our maps Paper Mario style. I'll get to work on some really flat Spartans this instant!

Okay, okay. Just listen up.
1. This is what, the second weapons I've modelled?
2. This is a practice anyway.
3. I've added detail into it http://i1239.photobucket.com/albums/ff508/Hiralis/ConcussionRifle-1.png
4. Plese don't troll, just give me crit. That's all I want for a practice model.

1: that's a terrible excuse.
2: practice for what? Learning how to make splines?
If you're going to use splines at least use them for something worthy like lathe.

If it's just modeling practice, then I don't see the problem. Though perhaps it wasn't the best idea to go showing it off, cause then people will criticize it like crazy.

The only way you can get better at modeling is working on something to its full potential. It's kind of like adaption, the more you get use to the challenge the more skilled you become. I know you can do better than that.
I'm giving you more of a suggestion of what to do rather than crit you.

This is all the crit you need right here. I'm getting sick of people coming on here showing off half baked work then crying and making excuses when it gets criticized.

I honestly think OP is trolling.
He either always does things this foolishly, or, hes always trolling, his behavior is always the same regardless. Take your pick, and either way, you just sit back and enjoy the train wreck lol.

I restarted on the model. Took me about an hour, both doing chores and this, to complete to this crappy quality. It's just something quick and simple I plan to work on to completion.
