hay guys, i'm doing some research into rail-shooters for work, does anyone happen to know of any rail-shooters or similar on-rail-based games for either X360 or PS3?

names would be very much appreciated.

I can't help you as far as the 360/PS3 is concerned, but there is Doom Ressurection for the iPhone and Link's Crossbow Training for the Wii.

Oh, and I just forgot, Dead Space Extraction for the Wii, which came with the limited edition of Dead Space 2 for the PS3.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Battlefield 3

Would Rez HD be considered a rail shooter?

I'm not sure but there may be some rail shooters that exclusively use Kinect. Check the Kinect-exclusive catalog.

lol im pretty sure that was a crack at the parts like that 15 minute segment where youre riding passenger in a jet blowing shit up in bf3
E: actually, thats a pretty valid point for every call of duty ive played too. cod4, mw2, and i assume mw3 all have those segments where you shoot while someone drives. blackops had a part like that where youre in a tank, but that one was horribly done even by cod standards.
E2: and bad company 2 has a part like that on one of the early snow levels.

i have a feeling youre looking for games that are totally on rails though, not just segments of games.
