Revelations was a pretty lame successor to Brotherhood. The game is interesting, but it's too slow-paced and has a very light story. It's not based on revenge at all like the previous games, and it doesn't get heated until about 7/8 of the way through the game.

I picked up the Lost Archive DLC as well, looking forward to the promised two-additional hours of gameplay.

I actually liked Revelations better than brotherhood and number 2. Perhaps the mood was more in tune with me.

I found the music and visual style to be more appealing to me than the past games. Mucking around as Altair again was a nice touch. About all the positive things I can say about it.

Just finished the main story, I liked it. Game is definitely slower than Brotherhood/II but it's more story/history oriented this time.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to access the DLC Animus Island content, the two broken doorways are now fixed (after beating the game) but aren't active.

The gateways on the island, while fixed, don't do anything regarding the lost archives as far as I can tell. You need to get the hash/key/whatever from steam for the DLC and copy it into the 'redeem code' in the extra's section of the game's main menu. After that 'the lost archives' will show up on the main menu from which you can play.

Yeah, I had figured that out on my own.
Thanks though!
