Anyone else seen this movie yet? I just saw it and it was pretty awesome. Probably one of the most intense movies I've watched recently.

I went to see it expecting mediocre acting (all the SEALs in the movie are portrayed by real SEALs) and lots of explosions and gunfights. I was hoping for more real-life correct maneuvering and weapons manipulation and I wasn't disappointed.

As a military enthusiast with a gear-whoring obsession it was basically a porno.

Yeah, it was definetly worth the money. The plot wasn't like super-amazing or anything but for the most part it was decent, the real thing about this movie was the action and gunfights.

Yeah but not in glorious HD. And this movie needs to be seen in HD to be truely appriciated (as do all action/war flicks).

AoV isn't an action/war "flick". It's a goat damn master piece. There's no "fluff". There's no "hurrr I'm a movie soldier :downs:" bullshit. There is only...awesome. 100 minutes of awesome.

Just watched it. Loved it. Like Korn said it wasn't your typical hollywood war movie, it was good.
