This, if it's accomplished into the market at a reasonable price, is outright awesome. I hope they'll install a zoom feature with the tech as well, kind of like having binoculars for people with glasses.

That's the only thing that really keeps me skeptical, although I do imagine they have a lot of firms and other research development companies working on the optic technologies and what not alongside Google.

watching the concept vid gave me this odd image of crowds of people babbling nonsense in the middle of the street, arguing with the voice recognition software

like that feeling you get when you don't know somebody's phone-ing on a wireless earpiece, except all the time

hey as long as Google doesn't go skynet it looks pretty neat though, would love to see if they could integrate ex. books and such
