fyi Ricochet is an old half life mod released by valve in 2000
All sarcasm aside, I think we know what he's talking about. Our dearly beloved HL3.

Also there have been some people finding "base source engine 2.gfc" in their steam directory, along with many other hints.

Will Valve be making a giant leap again? And will they pull it off?

I remember Ricochet. I used to love that game SO much.
But yeah, I just finished playing through all of the Half-Life series and I really want the third game. HOWEVER, If I don't see more of the destroyed Citadel in the distance I'll be buttsmadds.(To me, that is the best video game environment ever) But eh, Valve has a thing with impressive environments so W/E.
But do consider that it may just actually be Ricochet 2 :downs:

base source engine 2.gfc has been there for quite some time.
Valve doesn't even use .GCF anymore for their newer games.
