NVIDIA FXAA Technology – shader-based anti-aliasing technology available from the NVIDIA Control Panel that enables ultra-fast anti-aliasing in hundreds of PC games. FXAA delivers similar quality to 4x multi-sample antialiasing (MSAA) but is up to 60% faster, enabling substantially higher performance in games. FXAA is supported on all GeForce 8-series and later GPUs. Note: This feature is disabled for games that already have built-in support for FXAA. Visit GeForce.com to learn more. (http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-geforce-301.24-beta-drivers-released/)
NVIDIA Surround Accessory Display (http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-surround-on-the-geforce-gtx-680/#accessorydisplay) : Enable a fourth ‘Accessory Display’ to check emails, browse the web, or access other applications while in-game. This feature is supported on the GeForce GTX 680. On prior generation GPUs, this feature is supported in NVIDIA Surround mode with a third graphics card.

NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync – dynamically enables vertical sync based on your current frame rates for the smoothest gaming experience. Adaptive VSync is supported on all GeForce 8-series and later GPUs. Visit GeForce.com to learn more. (http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-geforce-301.24-beta-drivers-released/)

NVIDIA Frame Rate Target – dynamically adjusts frame rate to a user specified target. Support for this feature is enabled via third party applications via NVAPI. Visit GeForce.com to learn more. (http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-geforce-301.24-beta-drivers-released/)

Forcing FXAA in all my games now and playing them in NVIDIA Surround while maximizing applications to individual monitors without the help of Matrox PowerDesk. BRB.

Be careful with these beta drivers.

I have had more issues with these than I ever have with any other game. I can't play GTA IV without everything flickering. Battlefield 3 likes to not enable the GPU's and just sits there and stutters until I restart my computer. They're pretty much a mess at this point. And this is coming from a guy who tends to use beta drivers.

Also why would you use FXAA? It's only the equivalent of 4x AA

I can't see the gain of anything over 4x MSAA when there's such a performance hit. FXAA eliminates more than enough jaggies for me.

Also, BF3 works fine for me. Did you do a clean install?

Yeah, as always. But it could depend on what cards you have. I have two GTX 470's running in SLI. And I can tell, but I use a TV for a monitor, so I usually have AA cranked to the max.

Yeah, I also have dual 470's still.

Not using a TV though. That might be the issue.

Lol it's just HDMI. It wouldn't be an issue dude. It's the drivers. Trust me. I had no issues with 296.

HDMI output causes SO MANY issues with NVIDIA drivers. It's not even funny how many forums there are about it on the NVIDIA forums.

But yeah, my trip-monitor setup is working flawlessly with these new drivers and they're :iamafag:
