An issue thats been happening with safari (windows 7)

So I've been using safari since i had my old build before 2009, and all of the sudden, it just stops working. I double click on the icon, and it appears in Task manager, then it disappears from the task manager, and doesnt show any sign of opening? I hate using internet explorer. It's slow and buggy no matter where or when i use it. I tried to install google chrome but its doing the same thing as safari?

I dont really go on any sites besides youtube, google, and here now and then. So i dont think itd be a virus or something.. Suggestions?
