I am saddened by the fact that this hasn't gotten any attention.

99 buck hackable console based on Android centered around free to play games.

I can't wait to play video games on an outdated cell phone.

It's not centered around free-to-play games, it's centred on Android mobile games.

I would rather just install an Android emulator on Windows or, you know, play real games on my PC.

For that price, it's junk.

You mean that same machine which MS is thrusting Win8 onto?

Nonsense. I'm not required to install that abomination. That's the beauty of PCs over consoles: choice.

The irony is Ouya is meant to be an open platform while the PC platform you're talking about is slowly becoming tighter than Atty's sister in her golden years

Looks interesting, anyway. Personally I'm pretty sick and tired of the OMGRAPHIX race and have been for a long time. So it's nice to see a new console going in the opposite direction.

Huh, Madden and Minecraft? I dont think EA will like the open sourceness of this.

Nice idea, but I see a lot of holes.

I generally get to see a lot of holes too.

Would prefer an open source game console with an open source independent SDK.

Don't I know it. But, Steam is coming to Ubuntu...it's a start.
