Not saying you're wrong, but I think a Nobel Peace Prize should be awarded to extensions outside of what people are supposed to do. If you cured cancer, ebola, or solved global pollution, that's obviously deserving. But keeping your countries stable and having good standings with countries around you is paramount and should be attempted by default.

You need to do more research on hte conflicts between France and Prussia. France was a real world power, I'll give them that, but Prussia (and by extension, Germany) won a lot of wars through sheer force of their badassness.

They probably do it on purpose: Giving out Nobel Peace prizes in critical situations. They probably intend to ameliorate something...so the prize is just another political instrument.

There are many occasions where Germany could have easily ended the war (and won). Its quite scary how close they actually came to winning.
