I remember playing FC2 and remarking that wow, this game had FANTASTIC potential, but the execution of the sum of all parts fell short. Can't deny that it had some great moments though. Planting IEDs to take out vehicle convoys was a guilty pleasure :D

I've heard that FC3 largely fixed the flaws of FC2, and for once Ubisoft didn't delay it for PC and they actually did a half decent job on performance, so I might pick this up when it's likely to be 20-33% off during the steam sale.
