it's casual as all hell and would never work on a stage.

Shootmania is supposed to be the next thing but from what i've played of it.... it rewards skill really well but it's just not fun interesting or exciting to watch and play

I disagree, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed watching it a few months ago. They've also updated the game lately with a heap of new mapping/movement options too.

CS has to either adapt or die.

Valves gone all out with e-sports in the last 2 years and they're one of the best developers is not the best developer in the industry, it's in safe hands
Everyone wont be happy about the difference, but there is no sponsorship and hence NO support for either 1.6 or source, because newsflash, they're old.
