I like that he pointed out a common misconception: Hitler did not control the Germans by stripping their guns from them. I never understood where this misconception came from but to clarify:

-I have NEVER heard a single German talking about Hitler taking away his guns or even the possibilty to defend himself
-Most Germans were not forced by Hitler, though the might have not grasp what was going on through clever propaganda, they stood behind him

Grasp this first before talking about defending yourself from the government.

Pro-gun or pro-gun control?

Care to explain how arguments can contradict a fact? I hope you don't mean that because there are a lot of pro-gun arguments that conflict with my statement, my statement cannot be true?
