Tomb Raider... insanely awesome.

If you haven't been following it, well neither did I. But it's awesome, and all the reviews are giving it 9s. The best way I can describe it is it's like the combat of gears, the customization of COD, the feeling of exploration like H4 (just the whole mood of being someplace mysterious), and the story of Lost. I would go as far as to say it's one of my favorite campaigns ever. Anyway, definitely worth 60$ for the campaign alone, even if the MP apparently sucks.

Have you ever played one of the older Tomb Raiders? How does it compare to those?

I played the one that was a launchish title for 360, Legends I think it was? And a little of anniversary but I can't remember if i finished them.

@Rooster: It's like Lost in the fact it's an island with a deep history that many people have been drawn to over time. As you explore the island you find documents and evidence that helps you piece together the history of the island and it's current and former inhabitants. At the end it gets a little supernatural, which I wasn't crazy about, but I love you feel compelled to inspect areas of the island and look for clues as you try to figure out whats going on.
