A teenage girl who disguised herself as a boy to date her own female friends was today jailed for 30 months.

Gemma Barker, who was 19 at the time, gave herself false male identities so she could have sexual encounters with her 15 and 16-year-old victims.

Barker, now 20, of Staines, Middlesex, was told by Judge Peter Moss at Guildford Crown Court that she would be in custody for the first half of the term and serve the remainder on licence.

He said: "I have concluded that these offences are so serious that only a custodial sentence is appropriate."

The court heard that Barker introduced herself to the girls by using fake Facebook profiles and wore hats and baggy clothes to hide her true identity when she met them in person.

Now i know you guys are like WTF, but when i found this story thats a year old i was looking for another story that recently happened thats nearly the same.

and i found more and more occurrences of this happening and they're always in the UK.

What the fuck is going on in the UK, Limited i stand by for your opinion.

A schoolgirl who posed as a 'goth' boy called Scott for three-and-a-half years just to get another teenage girl into bed has been jailed for three years today.

Justine McNally, 18, duped her 16-year-old victim into believing she was male as they chatted online and carried on tricking her after they met by strapping a sex toy to her waist.

Glaswegian McNally, then 17, lured the London schoolgirl into three sex sessions, promising her they would get married and have children.

The girl was even fooled into thinking she had lost her virginity to McNally in a darkened bedroom of a family friend's house.

McNally's secret was only exposed as a young woman when a friend of her mother found a sex toy in her backpack.

Parenting here seems to have not so much stalled as it as has nose dived.
We've got an entire generation who have been let down because their parents would rather let their kids do what ever and pay the fines sent to their door than actually do the parenting bit.

Truancy has got to the point where schools have to fine parents for each day of a student truanting because some of the kids these days have no respect for their own parents let alone other people.
And then you have The Chavs...

As for explanation? There isnt one really, like warlord said the quality of parenting has dramatically dropped. As for why? Not sure, the prominence of Jeremy Kyle (ala Jerry Springer) type shows that 'glorify' this rubbish.

it might just be me, seeing as im terrible at reading in the first place, but that article seems really poorly written. i read it 3 times trying to figure out exactly what it was trying to say, and im still not sure on specifically who did what.

There's a movie for this. Except it takes place in redneck (or maybe russian redneck) land. Nearly everyone dies. Didn't care much for it. Too much of the character development revolved around how characters felt on the inside so the dialogue suffered. Would have probably been an alright book though.

Oh no, chavs are a new level. Chavs try extremely hard to pretend to be swagfags, who pretend to be rappers etc (if I read correctly).

So it adds another level of annoyance into the mix.
