Because there's so many awesome things on that site!

the peachy printer (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/117421627/the-peachy-printer-the-first-100-3d-printer-and-sc?ref=home_popular)

The idea is a $100 3d printer. I like it! Might pick one up... One day after I save up for a good LCD screen.

Yet another project that has one of my ideas (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/occipital/structure-sensor-capture-the-world-in-3d?ref=discover_pop) Capture the world around you into mostly accurate 3d models? Heck Yes. I dont have a use for it, but the idea of putting one's home into a game is an intriguing concept.

A non-sucky desk with usb 3.0 built-in ? Cool enough to me (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/155163930/paradise-desk-everything-youve-ever-wanted-in-a-de?ref=category)

I don't think it's the most stylish design, but someone's actually doing something about cables! They have a stretch goal of 50k, which if they hit, every desk will have an hdmi port. Pledged... I'll have to make sure the bank acct has enough money for the purchase! >.> I'd love to see what they'd do with the 110,000 stretch goal. Luckily, I've been in the market for a new desk.

i'd like to back that desk, but i move around too much for having a desk that i'd need to move with me every time.

Must have projected quite a high spend for the R&D required to design a cup holder.

In order to not break the aesthetics or make some gimmicky looking thing, i can see that. I'm gonna debate backing this (my dad loves this too) but I dunno if my current setup at home would fit on it or not.

Yeah.... I think it has as much to do with economies of scale as anything else

"$130,000 - Cup Holder"

AHAHAHAAHAHAAHAH :lmao:

Never looked at kickstarter really, think I might go do that right now. Seems like a fun place to just kill time looking at cool shit people think they can build. Or will build.

Posting from my iPad so too lazy to make links look pretty. Waiting for my wifi receiver to come on the new rig. It's got 3 antennas so it ought to be strong enough lol. Anyway, in short:
rubber bang machine gun. lol what.
2nd: cut your own sensors. Now that I've got an arduino on the way, too, I look forward to seeing if I can use this idea in my personal projects...

You got me. Lol. I'm a total sucker for cool sounding stuff. I do have a use for the pressure sensor idea, but idk about that one specifically. Do you have any other places to look?

I added wakfu to my reminders, so I'm interested in it. Looks fun. Good art style, cute characters, and writing that looks like fun. I'll see if I can get some of my siblings into it if I buy.
