Searched the forum for a topic on this and was surprised no one has ever posted about it.
Its a pretty fun and extremely addictive co-op (and some PVP) F2P game. The best way to describe it is a Space style Left 4 Dead thingy with badass suits (warframes). You have missions throughout the solar system and beyond which are always different. You can play them solo or up to 4 player co-op. The graphics are also amazing.
It's still in Open beta, but currently more popular than Planetside 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and COD BO II on steam stats. Also almost everything that you can pay for in the game is able to be acquired for free. I started playing back in closed beta but lost interest, now I've started playing the Open Beta I'm hooked.
The customization is one of the best parts, there are currently about 14 Warframes to get all up, and probably 90 weapons ranging from melee through to rockets, each weapon/suit can be massively customised from their strength, damage, range, abilities and color. They keep adding more weapons, suits, mods, and sentinals.
The combat is extremely fast paced with a slick parkour system worked in and a great melee system. The suits (Warframes) have abilities ranging from slashing through multiple enemies, to teleporting, to invisibility, to raising a small army of the dead to fight for you (each warframe has 4 unique abilities).
TL: DR: The game is free, and badass and fun. K
