Hey guys, I've got a 3930k that I don't need (upgrading to a 4930k) and I'd like to send this one to a nice home for approximately $400 + any shipping charges that may apply. This is about $170 cheaper than the current retail price for these processors.
It has been moderately overclocked to 4.25 GHz 24/7 since running (with a few benchmarking runs at 4.5GHz), however it has been cooled by a Corsair H100i so the temps have never gone above 80 degrees. On average the temps are in the 60-70 degree range when gaming and doing video editing and such. Chip hasn't given me any issues and I'm confident that if I were to overclock it more, it would have some more headroom up towards 4.5 GHz easily.

I don't get it.
That picture doesn't seem to relate to either the processor retail price, or the price I am asking.

Perhaps it's saying why spend $400+ on an i7 3930k when you can spend about half that or less on an AMD FX-8350?

Well that's easy, because Intel whips AMD?

I'm quite certain the image is because upgrading from a 3930k to a 4930k is a massive waste of money but Freelancer already knows that. :realsmug:

Lol, you guys are being dicks.
Carry on.
If I had $400 I'd be all over this. It's a fair price for a CPU that is better than almost anything else on the market.

Yeah I'm upgrading to a 4930k, but for less than the $400 I'm asking for my 3930k, so it's not really a waste of money!
