On a more serious note, from all the coverage of it that I've seen recently, it is less impressive than I last remembered it.

To slow on draw, all claimed by the time I asked.

Titanfall, meh. Play more Mech Warrior Online or Hawken.

I did this instead (http://help.ea.com/au/article/titanfall-beta-code-platform-issue-and-workaround/), but I didn't include a key in the description. I just put "Titanfall Beta" and waited until I got an email. I think it took about two hours, but I was at work at the time.

10/10 Would recommend that method. Now we have to wait until the servers are back up. :v

Worked for me on two accounts last night as well. Got to play with a friend because of it!

Isn't it supposed to go open on PC soon, like it already has on the XOne a day or two ago?...

My laptop probably couldn't run it very well so I won't bother, but I am paying attention to this game. Super neat so far.

I thought it was open on PC already. I never got any beta invite code, but I've got it on my PC right now and have gone through the training.

In a nutshell, this game is like Hawken but with the option to leave the mech. The mechs handle a little clunkier than they do in Hawken (because they made your jump key the dodge modifier rather than your sprint key), and being in a mech is actually bad for your health.
