You guys remember that Windows 8/Phone/Surface and Xbox One exclusive game called Halo: Spartan Assault, right?

H2V was fucked by the XBL ToS masters having the idea of people making cheats with the editing kit and UNLEASHING THE FULL FURY OF HAX UPON ALL GAMES IN XBL.
There was a reason why you saw videos showing cool things the editing kit could now do through shaky cam.

Well at least its something. They could have just avoided PC after the exclusive 360/xbone release, (especially since the consoles had exclusive content). Good to see we will be able to experience the entire game on PC and they haven't forgotten about us. That's a step closer for the other Halo's.

I will literally explode if Halo 3 comes to PC bundled with ODST and mod support. I'll look like the marine in my sig.

Don't kid yourselves. If real Halo games did ever get released on PC, it most certainly would not be on Steam to start and they most certainly would have "fuck you" written on the part of the page that describes mod support.

as to the mod support you're probably right, but with Kornman having reversed most of Halo's 1, 2, 3, ODST, Reach, etc Tag structure it wouldn't take long to get something going for it...

I see no reason why they wouldn't be on Steam given that they've packed GFWL in. I can agree with the rest though.

Wait a minute though, 343i gave pretty positive support over Halo 4 mods. That was with the community tinkering through their own methods, so who is to say that they wouldn't give mod support and/or a full editing kit for future titles - if not previous ones - if they were released on PC?
