It seems the release date has been removed once again from the GFWL webpage:

Does this mean another delay?

I saw this right after getting this email:

Perhaps they removed the release date because its aparent it won't be released on one day universally. Some stores decided to hell with it and started selling it before the weekend. I'm guessing they are either scrambling to tell other retailers when they should be releasing the game.

Yes, unfortunately we've been forced to delay it until Q4 2008.

Sorry, you know how these things go.
