I don't know how many of you have been keeping up with the game, but after seeing the following gameplay footage, I'm even more hyped to play this than GTA5 or MGS5.
This is the game as described by its developer:
Inspired by the weird fiction stories and other tales of macabre of the early 20th century, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a game to be played at night, alone, and with headphones. It's coming to PC in 2014.

It's unreal how detailed the environments are. The game's visuals look absolutely stunning. Even though it's using Unreal Engine 3, it looks remarkably up to date. I don't know how they do it, but it is explained in this article (http://www.theastronauts.com/2014/03/visual-revolution-vanishing-ethan-carter/) from the developer's website. The video makes it seem like the game spoonfeeds the player a bit too much info, but I'm fairly sure there will be options to turn off some of those elements. Even if there aren't I already know I'm going to enjoy the hell out of this game.
The sound and music alone is fucking chilling, soothing, and ethereal all at the same time. I absolutely cannot wait to experience The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. It's out on September 24th.
