So I'm still working on that game and I thought I'd add some art. I whipped up some stuff in Blender3d and put it in to my game. Now it needs textures, animations, etc. things I don't particularly know how to do. I have Adobe Photoshop CC but I don't know how texture creation is done with it! I know Photoshop is used big time by artists for Web Design, Graphic design, Photography, etc. but its nigh impossible to find any information about this! I'm about to resort to finding some modding websites and seeing what they have on the topic!

I've googled many a time looking for some information, any information about it and I really dislike being nitpicky but everything I've found is simple stuff like "How to make a wood texture" (HERP) or "Make an embossed metal text" (DERP)!! The problem with these "resources" is they are almost never, and that is by no means hyperbole, never self-contained. Sometimes you need to go out and find some stupid wall to take a picture of, or use their crummy resources. Other times the tutorials boil down to about two or three paragraphs of text and a number of pictures and a whole lotta nothin'!!

I'm off to a university in about six months for CS so I don't want to spend my money on stupid tutorial websites and software!!!

Substance Painter, Substance Designer, you can get them from allegorithmic.com for $20 a month, until you own it. (Indie license)
If you make over 100k a year, then you gotta pay more.

I just whipped this up yesterday in about half an hour. it makes texturing so easy, substance painter comes with a bunch of materials that you can use to texture pretty much anything. Then substance designer makes it easy to make materials from scratch. Its designed for PBR materials, but you can it for anything really. What engine are you using?
