For all of those saying that they aren't sure if "their" gamertag is already taken, why don't you just register one now?

Go to http://live.xbox.com/, sign in, and register your gamertag.

Also, there's a field in your profile options for your gamertag.

What about using our clan tags? Is there a place to enter them program side in H2 Vista, or are we going to have to register our account with them?

I really hope hired gun didn't forget about this option.

the way it works with halo2 on the xbox is you have to enter them with the gamertag. But on the 360 and windows live you should be able to change your gamertag with enough microsoft points.
