You can add -novsync as a parameter to the executible.

But honestly, I wouldn't drop it... it tends to cause gamespeed jumps making it hiccup.

Vsync is always a bad feature IMHO.

But thank you for that fix Jijo.

I'm just saying I don't want to see a thread in 10 hours saying that Halo2Vista is starting to hiccup around :p If you notice it and it pisses you off, you'll need to re-install the frame limiter. I find the one in nVidia's driver works fine. There's supposedly one in H2V itself but it never seems to be on (even with the flag supposedly on I'm bouncing between 70 and 120 FPS. That nearly factor-2 +/- causes horrible game speed issues for me which is why I point it out.)

Again, if vsync off works well for you and it doesn't cause your game to go all jumpy, go with it. If it does, well, sorry but you'll need to turn it back on. Preferably in the drivers.

If Halo 2 works on any way like Halo PC, then model animations are locked at 30 frames per second. Camera movements are the only things that move higher than 30 FPS.
