Is it me, or can you not edit the example scenario? I was trying to change the crates and scenery last night, and even add scenery, but it wouldn't let me. The right click add didn't work for me. I read through the help files for Sapien, so I'm pretty sure that I went about it the proper way.

It's read-only. Right click on the .scenario file, go to Properties, and disable the checkbox that says "Read-only".

Thanks Ghost. I did notice it was read-only, but couldn't figure out where to change.

It seems a bit easier to navigate through the new Sapien and the ability to have notes makes it nice.

Got it to open and edit last night. If anyone wants to play around , I suggest opening the example.map in Sapien, then save as a new name. Open the new scenario and edit that. The read-only check flag does not apply there, plus you don't run the risk of screwing up your original example.map.
