Hi there folks. Playing Halo 2 Vista the last few days and frequently I have mysterious walls that just show up and I can walk right through and long triangular shaped lines that show up from walls sticking out. Does anyone else experience this? Fix? Also, Window Media Center starts whenever I close the game. Just wondering if anyone else is getting this stuff. Thanks.

Your video card is either overheating, damaged, or needs a driver update. Most likely a driver update though, seeing as the drivers are still crap in vista.

Yeah it was the card. Not an amazing card. Nvidia GEForce 6600GT/128Ram. The drivers are totally crap. I did tests on my video before i installed Vista and after. Vista drivers put a huge hit on all my graphics scores. Makes no sense. I put my buddy's 6800GT Ultra in. Works amazing. Now I just need to score a cheap upgrade. Any recomendations for a relatively cheap AGP graphics card upgrade? Thanks for the response.

Probably between 100 and 150. I know that is low but I don't really want to put a whole lot more into this PC for its age.

7600gs and x1650XT should fall right into there, but for like 180 or so you can get the x1950pro, AGP version.
