No need to be a smartass, I was just pointing it out. I think its the ammo thing goes here as your placeholder thats throwing me off, and the angled watermark.

I remember at the start of Halo 2 they had the affirmative grey light, like in the novels. So if you were in position, and really strategic, and didn't want to give away your position via proximity, you could just tap left (I think) on the d-pad and your icon would light up grey. But then removed it in a patch for some reason :confused:.

Kinda off topic but the whole "authentic helmet HUD" reminded me.

I like the new Halo 3 HUD. It's clean and easy to understand. All the icons are at good spots.

it has to be custom unless bungie posted it...
i like the hud because

-its easy to understand
-fits gameplay and bends with map
-remind me of the first HUD :D
-it has the curve, cant get any leeter
-its a perfect fitting HUD for a halo cyborg

I like it. It's streamlined, and makes perfect sense. If I had two things to say, they would be:

1. Give back my health bar, and

2. Give me 4 fragmentation grenades and 2 of each of the other types.
