2 things that really bug me about this game

1. The lack of clan tag support. Didn't anyone at hired gun realize PC gaming has a ton of online communities? For me, I didn't know the game lacked this feature before I registered my live account. Now if I want to add my clan tags, I have to pay Microsoft $10 (800 microsoft points) to edit my name in my gamer profile. Please get this right, because many of us do play in clans. I can see telling a new member of my clan to put his/her clan tags on and to go pay microsoft 10 bucks for it lol. Thats not going to go over real well, especially for those with gold accounts.

2. The press X to delay the game feature while you're waiting to start in the lobby. I've been in quite a few games already where some noob was abusing this option, and had to leave a perfectly good party because of it. How about giving each player the option to use this feature only once between each game, or atleast let us see who is the culprit. These noobs certainly appreciate the fact that they can do this without any backlashing.

Other than these 2 things, I'm really enjoying the game experience so far but IMO these 2 things need to be fixed for all of us that plan on playing the game.

One of my annoyances is related to your first one, except it has more to do with player aliases. I don't understand what the HELL they were thinking when they decided to NOT give us the option to change our in-game alias. Again, this is yet ANOTHER feature we are given with Source, that they decided to be IGNORANT, GREEDY ASSHOLES cheap with and not include it in the game, though everyone knows just how important is. And I don't want them to give us any bullshit about it "affecting bans" or "making it easier to impersonate people" because if you're banning the linked gamertag and CD key hash (?) (hey, it would have also been nice if they didn't remove the ability to ban MAC addresses!!!), it means that they won't be able to join, regardless of your alias.

the second happened to me last night, some idiot kept hitting the delay button for atleast 15 minutes. and with so little players playing h2v its not easy to find another good party. =\

meh...Clan tags are not important at all.

Lets look at the REAL issues here....The Control Scheme sucks. That should have TOP priority.

And the freezing issues.

Those are teh top two that annoy me to no end.

Guys....it DOES tell you WHO pressed the X button...just leave them neg feedback for game abuse.

I've never experienced freezing issues, although in single player when ever a cutscene loads or a new map loads I go from 80fps to 1-3fps, until gameplay actually gets going.

edit: oh and the fact that it never added h2v to the start menu made me cry, i had to do it myself >_<

Unless I'm missing something it does not say who delayed the game. And even if it did what is lowering his rep going to do? How exactly does a poor rep punish someone? AS far as I can tell it it lowers the chance you will be matched against that person, but it doesn't eliminate the chance.

Thats not true, Digi. I think its with a custom game you cant see who is pressing X and when playing from a Dedi you can see who is pressing delay. Or the other way around or something similar. But there are times when you cant see whos pressing X and other times when it tells you. Either way delay needs to go.

Also lawndart I completely agree with you on the name thing. I would like to add my clan tag to my name but I cant. I also didnt know the name I signed up with would be my permanent name. Which sucks cause I had to sign up like 4 times before it let me on LIVE. So Im stuck with my 4rth choice in a name. :(

Either way I don't think delay should be removed, just change it so only the host can delay it. If someone really does need a delay on the rare occasion they can just ask the host.

I've held out through a lot of this bullshit in my intent to buy this game, but you can't even change your NAME? ... I'm seriously considering just not getting this game now, at least I won't need to get Vista.
