Hi guys,

I'll make this short: H2V freezes up randomly during gameplay. Like today, I was playing multiplayer on sanctuary and all of a sudden the game freezes up for like a minute then I get kicked out of the game with a message that says: We are experiencing problems.sorry about that! When I get back to my desktop,,there is a message in the lower right hand corner that states: "Your display driver quit working." Could that be the problem? I have the newest Geforce 7 display drivers right from the nvidia site.

Anybody else experiencing this issue? What should I do to resolve this issue?

Thanks again,

-CRACKA =)

PS: This ONLY happens during multiplayer...

That issue may be due to drivers for Vista. I However, had a problem that may be related. I installed AVG free anti-virus for Vista and after I did that multiplayer would lockup on me. I disabled AVG and it runs smooth, so AVG is probably hogging up to many resources.

I get that all the time....and I think I found the cause. Do you have a 8xxx card installed by any chance?

AVG is a VERY low resource hog. I doubt that is the cause.

I have an 8600GT. Is there a problem with that card?

not the card...but the 8xxx series drivers for Vista are horrible at best. All 8xxx cards are affected.

I get this all the time with my 2-7950 gtx's. It's not just the 8xxx cards :)

My avg runs 24/7 and I never have a problem running it.....so i honestly do not think that could be a major problem....now if you let AVG scan your computer while your playing then you may have some problems

I agree....AVG is not the problem.

I have the exact same problem, I'll be in the middle a game then it will freeze for 10 seconds and I get the "We're experiencing some problems. Sorry about that" error message. Happens once and a while. It's really the only problem i've had thus far. I have free version of AVG as well.

hey, blank, I don't think there should be any problems when you have good requirements for H2V.

the problem is nvidia's SLI drivers suck

try it with one card and see if you freeze again

Its not so much Nvidias driver anymore because they have pretty much cleared up most of the preformance issues. dont always blame your hardware so much you have look at the game. I agree with Digikid BRING ON THE PATCHES. the game runs horrible for everyone right now. Nvidia and ATI users

AVG is working fine now with H2V so I'm not sure what the heck was the problem.
