Anyone know of an RCON in the works?

Does anyone or has any of the developers heard of any RCON in the works? I can live without it in the early days but this is something that needs to be worked in.

rcon wasn't in the Halo 1 dedicated till patch one or two, so have patience.

Stands for remote control. It allows you to control your server using a password and many server commands whilst not being at the computer running the server. Used while in game on a different pc. It's like the core part of the dedicated server, that they removed =\

So, in a remote sort of way you can remotely control the remote console in a remote-y console-y sort of way?

I guess only time will tell to see if a patch will be released that will put a bunch of stuff that should never have been taken out in the first place back into H2V. But I doubt it...

It's useful an event such as this:

1) You buy a server from a hosting company.

2) You get it all setup and have some fun gaming on it.

3) You get fed up with the set map cycle, and having to write down peoples names that you want to ban/kick.

4) you use the ingame administrative (RCON) commands to change server side thing, such as maps in the map cycle, who you want banned or kicked, and all that fun administrative stuff!
