This story's been all over the net and picked up by a lot of news sources. At first I thought it was fauxto-shopped but looking at the grass and stuff on that pig I'm not sure.

12.7mm, .5 inch diameter. A .50 BMG round is about the size of the end joint of my thumb, the pistol rounds are shorter.

They obviously don't know how to hunt, I've brought down a 1200 pound moose with two shots from a .303 at about 30-50 yards.

You setup and aim, not run after it with a handgun firing wildly after it.
