Weapon of Choice for Halo 3?

Which weapon do you prefer in the Halo 3 beta? I'm just curious.

Mine is the Shotgun since it is so deadly at close range.

Covenant Carbine, i like the look it has in H3 and it's more powerful.

Assault Rifle. It's useful in all three maps, and it's an all-rounder in medium and short range.
For long range, it's Sniper all the way.

I'm a Sniper/Plasma Grenade/Spiker Grenade. Head shots and sticks, all ya need. ;)

From the ten or so games I played, dual wielding was still king, but the larger maps made weapons like the BR needed more. So, I usually carried a BR/spiker. I was glad to see that you could get either one almost any time you went to their spawn.

I wasn't entirely pleased with the needler. It definitely received an upgrade, but I found it hard to hit people unless you had elevation over them.

Depends on the situation, but it usually always has a BR
On Valhalla I rock the BR/SR
Everywhere else BR/AR

I use every gun, different places, different weapons placed to work with the area I'm in.

If I had to choose though, it would be the rocket and sniper combo, since I noticed that alot of snipers are picked off by people in vehicles.

Im always either BR+Sniper, BR+AR, or BR+Shotgun.

In some cases, BR+Laser.

No, it has the same accuracy, less auto-aim. The only reason the BR55 and Covie Carbine were so good in Halo 2 was because of the uber-auto-aim.

My favorite weapon is the sniper rifle, but i accidentally clicked spiker, which is my third favorite. Second is the pistol, usable in the custom game glitch.
