My first foray into Halo 2 Mapping. I began work on this map on Thursday, right after I got Halo 2, I had my brother make a quick map layout and it's turned into this. The name was chosen randomly from a bunch of pictures hanging in the room, specifically a picture of the Atlus Vanlines hydroplane.

Vanlines has support for all gametypes, and makes for some pretty chaotic gameplay with 6 to 16 players, especially with random secondary weapons.

Map size: Small (roughly the size of beavercreek, if not smaller

Ghost on a map smaller than beaver creak. I smell noob chanting. Anyway, looks good for an WIP, keep it up.

With the Rocket Launcher, Turret, and plenty of plasma grenades, not to mention little to no maneuver room for the ghost, It's not that over powered

I played this map a couple days ago.....

Has a few errors.....sometime when you dies the results are....interesting to say the least.

Plus....I saw loads of Rocket reloads.....but no Rocket Launchers....but that would have been the team slayer mode that we were on....

In the orriginal desing there was a cave system connecting the two bases and the center of the map (the wall behind the ghost) the Only way to get into it was via a grav-lift and the rocket launcher would be in there. Unfortunetly the Grav-lifts wernt working, so I decided to axe the caves and Grav-Lift, remodel the walls, and place the rocket launcher up on the top of the cliff for the player to shoot down.

Long story short, go to where the ghost spawns and look up.

O.o What settings are you using? There should only be one small covi turret on top of the central hill. I dont have any of those turrets in any pallets in the .scenerio file

A custom game type I made, that maybe why. It thinks the weapon spawn points are for turrets?

It might look lame, atleast thats what I thought when I took at test look at the map although when I played it with a few friends, it gave us some quick instant fun.
Easy to locate each other and just some down right fun.
Down side is their are no strategic spots, except one which is where the shotgun spawns.

Hide you and launch 3 plasma nade and 2 frag nade on the turrets... it destroy it all... no?

This was the first custom map I ever dled. Played in a 12 player game and it was bitchin. Very Chaotic.


I also got hired gun here.(Feel into a hole and I got it lol)
