View Full Version : An Autodesk Student Bundle/Suite Thing. Does it exist?

Well, I want two of Autodesk's programs. 3ds Max 8 (or 9 if I get confirmation that the H2V asset exporter does or will work) and AutoCAD. Do Autodesk student software bundles exist? I just want any discount possible. I tried Google, but failed miserably.

yes, I think they do, but I think you have to be a college/university student.

you typically have to have an arrangement with you school to get it, but there are more direct ways.

Almost all places don't care if you are in college of university. If you are a student, and you can prove it, you are applicable for the discount.

I got my copies of Max 8 and 9 via academic superstore for $650ish. It was Max 8 with a free upgrade to 9. They don't have the offer anymore but you can buy Max 9 and Cleaner or something like that for $300. I didn't have to go through my school at all either, just faxed them a copy of my school ID card.
