alright, i decided to give yall a taste of my new teams map, currently modeled by me, skinned and populated by OxYgEn.
The shaders anre still being worked on, and so are a few of the textures, but the model for the most part is done except for a few errors found in testing yesterday.
We realy need to get better lightmaps, and we are looking to have u help us if u can jaharin, it would be greatly appreciated to be able to do custom ones for this map.
also, we need some scenery, contact me on aim if you have any models of street signs, city scenery (lights benches.....) and also if you have any modeles palm trees. We need them for bsp scenery. preferably skinned, but beggers cant be choosers.

textures definatly need some work, but other than that it looks damn awesome!

I absolutely LOVE the lighting and overall feel of the map.

if u look closely, there is a counter weight, its just small. The first crane i made was inside a building, and i ran out of space to make 1 and thats the biggest i could make it. Lets just say the counter weight is made of an extremly heavy material, that being so heavy, its radioactive, and has to be kept in the arm of the crane, but is moved around inside of it like a balast to counterbalance whatever it is picking up. :) lol, idk. Yea i know, the textures do need a lil work. especially the reflections and specular maps. Help would be appreciated as oxy is having trouble fixing some of those problems.

the map looks big, but its realy not that bad. walking base to base feels slightly longer than coag, but not much. also, if we can find the tags (they seem to be missing, but the tutorial says they shoud be there, help any 1?) for a man cannon, we want to make 1 or 2 for the map.

Too bad you can't add physics contraints to environment objects, or heh, create NEW object models. Then you could make a crane like in headlong that moves around :/

Looks nice... actually it reminds me a lot of the cloud city map in star wars battlefront, which is a good thing.

looks great. youve been workign on this for a fair while. i remember when u unveiled it for CE at gearbox.

it's a great map but i think it's too big. the tunnels and the massive amounts of cover will slow the game down. :gonk:
but if can get some man Cannons in there somewhere that problem will be nulled.
