well here it is. the document in question (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QLTMGCON)
the new HS_doc.txt
pritty much has the exact same commands as 1's
and about 5 times as many more commands extra.
i have skimmed through it quickly and found the most used commands there. for those that already have it. good for you. for those that don't take a look if you want or start up sapien and create it the same way as in 1. the ` button and script_doc

so they have removed script compiling? or is it they just disabled a bunch of the commands? wow now i get it, the halo 2 xbox version has more modding capabilities than this toolset we've been given.

Same deal as HPC, only on a grander scale; scripts will compile, but most functions won't work because they were basically test functions or something.
Look at it this way: there's enough there like in HPC to make a single-player map. They can't have disabled core, game-breaking functions, or else the campaign wouldn't work.

i see. so how exactly do you compile them then? when i first got the editing kit the first thing i did was get the script commands but ever since release i haven't been able to compile anything.

it's because scripting was disabled.

Script compiling that is, yes.
