Someone will end up doing it adventually, or the Halo1 versions that they are based on...

Aren't people making Halo PC maps for Halo 2 Vista?

I'd say, the best remakes lie on the factor of a true remake.

For one, they don't get caught up under any copyrights or laws. And two, they bring a new fun factor to our old memories.

So please keep in mind, that if these are brought to H2V, they might be revamped, remodeled, or perhaps - re-kickassified.

I'm making Tranquil (Chill Out) and Athens (Chiron TL-34), NeuroKoNeza & Lightning are making Asylum (Prisoner), someone (I forget who, sorry) is remaking Boarding Action, and Blood Gulch is being ported (due to the fact that we already have Coagulation). My two remakes, and I hope Neuro & Lightning's also, are going to be released in HCE first. When I finish the maps AND get Vista, my two remakes will be released in H2V.

What I've decided im going to do is just make my last 6 maps for CE, then Lightning can make the H2V version if he feels like it.

Hey Sever, since Boarding Action is just being ripped and reused, and you're already doing an Athens Station themed map based on Putput, why don't you do a [semi] original version of Boarding Action for Malta Station, drawing inspiration from the extra-vehicular segment of the level Cairo Station?

You forgotted my Damnation D: I am trying to get bitmaps and make shaders for a new theme, on top of CMT stuffz, so that is why the topic is so far back.

@ Dole - #1. Boarding Action is already being remade as one of these three setups: a Forerunner structure built into cliff walls; a Human city built into cliff walls; a Human ship vs. a Covenant ship in space. #2 - I don't like that map.

@ flyinrooster - I plan to remake Damnation EVENTUALLY as Condemned, an abandoned Human training facility in the US desert somewhere. I have no general layout plans for this map yet, however, so I don't even know if I will ever get to it.

SIDE NOTE - I also plan to remake Sidewinder as _______ (unknown name at the moment), which will be the cargo bay of In Amber Clad attached to the docking bay of the Cairo Station. It will be more layered (The infantry paths will be catwalks above the driveable areas, as opposed to being next to them on the outer cliff sides (The catwalks will still be vehicle accessable to the determined gamers)). The time of the scenario will be just after you escort Miranda Keyes and Sgt. Johnson off of the Cairo Station. This will explain the abundance of Covenant weapons on the map. All the maps will be HELLA COOL! (I hope!)

EDIT: _______ will no longer be IAC and Cairo Station, but just two ordinary Human vessels. IAC is too small and the docking bays are too confining. (there's only six on a side and they are TINY!)
